Yes, our suppliers only use real plants that are naturally preserved in a special process using glycerine and food colouring. This keeps the plants permanently and requires no care.
The special preservation method is based on water, food dyes and glycerine and is therefore completely harmless to health. In an exchange process, the water in the plant is replaced by glycerol and the chlorophyll by food colouring.
No, no care is needed. On the contrary: the preserved plants must not be watered under any circumstances. They do not need light either and their antistatic properties do not deposit dust. Short: 100% natural, 0% care.
In direct sunlight, especially the mosses can fade after 2 – 3 years. It is, therefore, to be avoided as much as possible. In addition, you should not hang the products close to or over heat sources, as this does not tolerate the glycerine.
As long as the humidity is not more than 70%, the plant pictures and walls can be used in all interior spaces – eg in living rooms, bedrooms or dining rooms, in offices and conference rooms, in public buildings or at trade fairs. For outdoors, the conserved plants are not suitable.
Yes, the conserved plants act as a soft natural material similar to soundproofing elements and reduce both noise and reverberation indoors.
Because they are natural plants and mosses, they also have the typical, natural odour, which, however, evaporates over time.
No, not 100%. On the one hand, our pictures are real manual work, on the other hand, the plants are natural products, which can lead to deviations in color and shape. Each picture is therefore unique.
Yes. If the mosses lose their colour intensity due to time, high humidity or direct sunlight, you can order a natural repurification spray from us.
No, due to the anti-static effect of the plants and the slight draft in the room, no dust accumulates on the plants or mosses. Only the frame can accumulate dust over time.
Yes, as these are real plants that are naturally conserved and therefore no longer live, the pictures are ideal for allergy sufferers.
Especially in winter, when the humidity is lower due to strong heating and less ventilation, the moss can become dry. Please do not spray the moss directly, otherwise, the salt and the food colouring may come loose. Instead, try to increase the humidity, for example by increasing ventilation or a humidifier. However, the moss does not take any permanent damage if you do not load it mechanically but will be soft again when the humidity increases.
